Men's Skin Treatments

Male skin is thicker, oilier and shaved daily. Our protocols are calibrated for it, and our planning preserves masculine facial structure.

Men's skin is thicker, oilier and more prone to irritation from shaving. It needs treating differently.

Male facial skin has around twenty percent greater dermal thickness than female skin, higher collagen density and significantly more sebaceous activity. It also endures daily mechanical trauma from shaving. Treatments calibrated for female skin often underdeliver on men, which is why our protocols are adjusted for depth, dose and downtime.

Our approach

  • Treatment plans that keep a masculine facial structure, not a softened one
  • Conservative dosing with review, rather than maximal treatment on day one
  • Discreet appointments with minimal visible downtime
  • Clear guidance on what will and will not be noticeable to others
  • No pressure to book a course before you have seen the result of a first session
The design principle for menMasculine facial aesthetics rely on angularity, a defined jaw and a flat or slightly concave midface. Treatments that add roundness or lift in the wrong plane feminise a face. Our planning is built around preserving structure.

Frequently asked questions

Will people be able to tell I have had something done?

Not if it is dosed properly. The common giveaways are an immobile forehead and an overfilled midface. We treat conservatively, review at two weeks and add more only if needed. It is always easier to add than to reverse.

Do men need different treatment from women?

Yes. Male skin is thicker with stronger muscles, so anti-wrinkle dosing is typically higher. Filler placement differs substantially because masculine aesthetics rely on angularity rather than curvature.

How much downtime is there?

Anti-wrinkle treatment has essentially none. Fillers can cause swelling and occasional bruising for a few days. Resurfacing and acne scar treatments need longer, typically two to seven days.

Can I combine skin treatment with a hair transplant?

Yes, though we usually schedule them separately so recovery from each is not confused with the other. Your treatment plan will sequence them sensibly.
