About The Men Clinics

The Men Clinics was founded to give men a place to deal with hair loss without being sold to.
Dr. Ducu Botoaca set up the clinic after seeing too many men arrive for repair work following procedures that should never have been performed. Some had been operated on too young, into hair loss that was still advancing. Some had hairlines designed for a twenty year old on a face in its forties. Most had been quoted a graft number before anyone examined their scalp.
Our model is built around avoiding that. One clinic, one surgeon leading each case, a written plan before any deposit is taken, and a willingness to tell men that surgery is not the right answer for them yet.
How we work
- We examine before we quoteNobody receives a graft number or a price before a surgeon has examined their scalp and measured donor density under magnification.
- We plan for your lifetimeDonor supply is finite. Our plans account for the hair loss you have not had yet, not just the loss you have.
- We put it in writingA single itemised quote covering the procedure, medication, take-home kit and every review appointment. Nothing is added later.
- We stay with you afterwardsIn-person reviews through to eighteen months, with standardised photography so progress is measured rather than guessed at.
- We decline casesA meaningful proportion of enquiries are advised to stabilise medically first or told they are not suitable candidates.
The clinic
We are based in Soho, in the heart of the West End. The practical benefit is access: four Underground lines stop within a few minutes' walk and the Elizabeth line runs directly from Heathrow, so patients travelling from across London and the rest of the country can reach us without a complicated journey.

Yes, though our focus is men's hair and aesthetic care. Female hair loss requires investigation of underlying causes before any surgical discussion, and we cover that on our female hair transplant page.
Will I meet the surgeon before my procedure?
Always. The surgeon who examines your scalp and designs your hairline is the surgeon who performs your procedure.
Do you ever turn patients away?
Regularly. Men whose hair loss is still advancing rapidly, or whose donor supply cannot support their expectations, are advised accordingly rather than booked in.
