How to read a before and after gallery
Any clinic can make results look better with lighting, angle and hair length. When comparing clinics, check three things: is the lighting identical in both photographs, is the hair the same length, and is the time point stated? If a gallery does not tell you how many months after surgery the photograph was taken, you cannot judge it.

Hair restoration outcomes depend on donor density, hair calibre, the area being treated, your stage of hair loss and how your body responds. The results shown are genuine outcomes for those individual patients and are not a guarantee of what you will achieve. Your own expected result is discussed honestly at consultation, based on an examination of your scalp.
We do not use stock photography, digitally enhanced images or results from other clinics in this gallery. All patients have given written consent for their photographs to be published.
What affects the result you see
- Time point. Growth continues to thicken through to eighteen months. A twelve month photograph understates the final outcome.
- Donor supply. Density achievable is capped by how much hair can safely be moved.
- Hair calibre. Thicker hair shafts cover more scalp, so fewer grafts achieve the same visual density.
- Hair to skin contrast. Lower contrast between hair and skin colour reads as greater density.
- Ongoing native loss. Hair around the grafts can continue to thin without medical management.

They are genuine outcomes for those individual patients, which is not the same as typical. Results depend on donor density, hair calibre, the area treated and your stage of loss. Your own expected outcome is discussed honestly at consultation after an examination.
How long after surgery were these photographs taken?
Verified time points are published alongside a case when supplied. Hair transplant growth commonly continues to thicken beyond twelve months, so ask when each after photograph was taken before comparing outcomes.
Do you edit or enhance the photographs?
We publish supplied clinic photographs without reshaping or digitally enhancing the result. Lighting, angle and hair length can vary between appointments, so assess those differences when comparing images.
Can I see more results at a consultation?
Yes. We can show you cases matched to your own hair type, Norwood stage and graft requirement, which is far more useful than a general gallery.
Why do some cases have more grafts than others?
Graft count depends on the area being covered and the density being aimed for. A hairline refinement may need 1,500 grafts while a front and crown case can need over 4,000.
