It is a minimally invasive procedure in which the doctor injects a hyaluronic acid filler under the skin of the penile using a cannula.
The amount of filler will vary from patient to patient due to penile size differences and the elasticity of their skin. To ensure patient safety and satisfaction will be around 10 – 15 ml of filler, yet some patients can take up to 50 ml based on their size. This should increase the penile thickness from 10 to 15%.
You can feel minimal discomfort during the procedure, as it uses very mild painkillers and the injections are only given when the injection area is completely numb.
After the nerve block wears off, there may be some mild discomfort that is easily controlled with pain medication. Some patients also report a bit of bruising, swelling, or inflammation in the area, but this is generally mild and doesn’t last long at all. Our doctors will provide you with instructions for post-injection care.
An overwhelming majority of patients report the same or improved sensitivity. In fact, many patients feel more confident following the procedure, allowing them to enjoy the sexual activity more.
